LOS ANGELES -- A family-owned and operated enterprise that started from humble beginnings and continues to enjoy success has carried its founders into the twenty-first century: Diana’s Mexican Food Products.
Founded by Samuel F. Magana Sr. and wife Hortensia in the late 1960s, Diana’s continues to grow and still maintain the high quality of the products they are known for and the kind of attentive service they provide to their ardent customers.

While the family business thrived and expanded, so too did the Magana family. Two daughters – Diana and Hortensia -- and a son, Sam Magana Jr. complete the family portrait. It was after their first born – Diana, that the business was named.

Diana Magana was able to make a name of her own while still being a part of Diana’s. She was the first Hispanic woman to be crowned as Miss California in 1987 and later, Miss USA / World.
From the mid-1970s through the early 1990’s, the Magana family business prospered and led them to open a bakery, another tortilla plant, more and more restaurants and a tamale processing plant.
Currently, they have six restaurants and a tortilla factory where wholesalers can buy them in bulk.

Located in Carson along Sepulveda Blvd. is their 24-hour La Bonita Restaurant and Delicatessen. At Huntington Park along Pacific Blvd., you may find another Diana’s Restaurant. Just behind Diana’s main office is Diana’s Restaurant (Delicatessen, Tortilleria and Panaderia) in Norwalk along Pioneer Blvd. In Gardena at Normadie Ave. is Diana’s Restaurant’s Market and Panaderia. Opened since 1991 is their branch in El Monte at Durfee Ave. Another Diana’s bakery is situated in Southgate at Tweedy Blvd. For wholesaler, Diana’s Tortilleria can be found in Maywood at East Slauson Ave.

If you are located in those areas where Diana’s has a presence, you will definitely enjoy their mouth-watering Burritos, Salads, Soups, Quesadillas and Nachos, Tacos, Gorditas and Tortas, Antojitos Mexicanos, Seafood Cocktails, Mariscos – Seafood, Seafood Specialties such as Parillada De Mariscos (a seafood grill that includes broiled fish, lobster, abalone, octopus, shrimp and a fillet of fish all served with white rice) and much more.

They also serve special breakfast, lunch and dinner fare, and kids have their own menu. All of the foods are priced inexpensively and the servings are really excessive.  Today, the company’s client base reaches across the Pacific into Japan, where the popularity of authentic Mexican cuisine has skyrocketed. Diana’s also supplies tasty homemade tortilla chips to large casino clients in nearby Las Vegas and produces private label tortillas and other fine products to domestic clients in Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Oregon.
