Stay Connected!

For more than 40 years, Philippine News has been a vital resource for the Filipino American community. As the only nationally circulated Filipino American newspaper, it has not only effectively linked Filipinos across America, but also helped them meet their information needs and realize their aspirations to be part of the national mainstream. People trust Philippine News for its quality and integrity. With its comprehensive news and lifestyle coverage, Philippine News is without a doubt the most effective tool to know and reach the Filipino-American market.

What We Are

As a niche publication, Philippine News addresses needs that are generally not covered by other national media. It offers a wholly different perspective of national social, political and economic issues. For the advertiser, this means a clearly focused target. Philippine News is a weekly, English-language broadsheet newspaper with a paid subscription base and distributed in retail outlets across the United States and Canada. Its first section is devoted to "hard" news, news analysis and opinion. Its Life & Entertainment section covers the gamut of the emergent Filipino American culture - from food to the arts and entertainment, from the youth's aspirations to health and fitness concerns. The Consumer Section focuses on automotive, real estate and technology.

Who We Serve

Our readers have an insatiable need to Stay Connected to their community. From immigration law to business, from entertainment to history, from social issues to technology-Philippine News strives to cover every aspect of a Filipino-American's life and lifestyle.

Our affluent professionals are concerned with politics, travel and financial success. Two-thirds of our readers have an average household income over $50k and more than 70% of our readers are college graduates. Almost 4 out of 5 of our readers own their own home.

Our young adults look for answers on traditions and identity. As we continue to sponsor student forums and open debates, our younger readership continues to grow - up 50% from 2002. However, more than half our readers still prefer to speak their native tongue at home.

And our entire readership is technology driven . While more than 90% of our readers have a computer, more than 50% of our readers have 2 or more wireless devices. And the number of readers having made an online purchase in the last year is more than 50% - up 20% from previous years.
