As a columnist, active Evangelist with the GOLDEN GATE CHURCH OF CHRIST (GGCC) in San Francisco, California and founder of ACAPINOY, I would like to invite and welcome our readers and the general public to be Monthly ACAPINOY to be hosted by GOLDEN GATE CHURHC OF CHRIST on Saturday, 11:30 to 1:45 pm ,March 15, 2025 at the GGCC Auditorium, 701-8th Avenue (near GOLDEN GHATE Park), San Francisco, California.

ACAPINOY is acapella singing of favorite gospel songs and heavenly hymns in English, Spanish, Tagalog, Ilocano, Pangasinan, Cebuano and other Philippine dialects.

A brainchild of your columnist, ACAPINOY was started in August, 2009 but was temporarily stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.  I would like to thank Rose de la Cruz, regular speaker of the Words for Women segment of the global My Angel Radio San Francisco, for encouraging me to revive the Quarterly ACAPINOY and Monthly ACAPINOY last Saturday, December 14, 2024.

ACAPINOY will be a practical, easy and year-round outreach to the fast-growing Hispanic, Asian and Filipino population in Northern California.

Evangelists, preachers and song leaders from various congregations in Northern California support ACAPINOY to foster camaraderie, unity and cooperation among Christians and sister congregations.

Acapella singing is natural exercise of the vocal cord for proper blood and oxygen circulation which is good for the heart and lungs. ACAPINOY singing of favorite  gospel songs and heavenly hymns is healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually.

After the ACAPINOY singing, participants can walk to the nearby GOLDEN GATE PARK and do their weekend exercise and enjoy deep breathing while visiting the Rose Garden, Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Garden, Stow Lake, hiking up the Strawberry Hill and the Abode of Butterflies, Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden at the foot of The Windmill and other sceneries inside the sprawling GOLDEN GATE PARK.

Research showed that ACAPINOY singing and regular walking and weekend exercises can increase your life span for 7-15 years.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Monthly ACAPINOY and then enjoy walking and doing weekend exercises inside the sprawling GOLDEN GATE PARK after the ACAPINOY singing.
