After some preliminaries, I had Zaldy signed the two SPA. Then, I had him signed my Journal of Notarial Acts and put his right thumb mark. I, then, had Emil signed the SPA and also signed my Journal of Notarial Acts and put his right thumb mark. Finally, I had Ruben signed the SPA and then signed my Journal of Notarial Acts and put his right thumb mark.

Zaldy arranged for the signing and notarization of the SPA for his elderly  mother Generosa residing in Elk Grove, California last Tuesday, 11:00am  May 6,2025. My beloved wife Virginia Jimenez Madlaing and I drove early to Elk Grove, California. When we arrived at the front door, Zaldy was already there waiting for us.

After some preliminaries, I had  Zaldy’s elderly mother Generosa signed the SPA. I, then had her signed  my Journal of Notarial Acts and put her right thumb mark. After my beloved wife witnessed the signatures, I notarized the SPA.

Per Zaldy’s request, there was urgency for the two SPA signed, notarized and apostilled and then personally delivered back to him later in the afternoon in his home in Vallejo, California, and be sent immediately to the Philippines.

From Zaldy’s elderly mother Generosa’s home in Elk Grove, California, my beloved wife and I drove  to Sacramento, California last Tuesday, May 6, 2025 and submitted the two notarized documents to the Secretary of State, Notary Public Section, for apostille. I received the apostilled SPA later in the afternoon.

Before driving back home to San Francisco, California, we dropped by the home of Zaldy in Vallejo, California and personally delivered the apostilled SPA. Zaldy was already at the door, smiling and waiting for us.
