As a book author, columnist and active Evangelist with the GOLDEN GATE CHURCH OF CHRIST in San Francisco, California, I would like to share to our readers and the general public a message I delivered during the Worship Services at the GOLDEN GATE CHURCH OF CHRIST in San Francisco, California last Sunday, 11:00 a.m, August 24, 2025 to commemorate my 78th Birthday.

SCRIPTURE READING:  1 Thessalonians 5:17, Mark 16:15-16

I – GREETINGS AND INTRODUCTION – Good morning and Happy Sunday! I would like to thank those who responded to my personal invitation to attend our Worship Services this morning. We have the Madlaing and Talon family who drove all the way from San Jose, California to attend our Worship Services this morning. I commend  Mercyllena Talon Madlaing and Emmanuel Talon for inviting and bringing cousin-brother Ismael Talon respectively. Young Mercyllena and Emmanuel obeyed the gospel in baptism right here in this baptistery after WE CARE Gospel presentation arranged by Ursula T. Madlaing during the height of the COVID- 19 pandemic lockdown last  Aril 27, 2020.

I would like to thank brother Dennis Chin for the Scripture Reading and   brother Renato Marcos for leading appropriate songs like “The Gospel Is For All.” Finally, I would like to thank brother James Quitoriano for scheduling me to share a message today on “PRAYING BOLDLY WITHOUT CEASING TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL.”

Before proceeding, let me ask two questions for you to answer honestly and seriously . 1. How many of you have been praying boldly for the spread of the gospel, the power of God to salvation (Romans 1:16), PLEASE STAND. 2. How many of you desire to influence and help your FRANCS (Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, Co-Workers, Strangers) to HEAVEN with you as soul winners and be wise in the eyes of God (Proverbs 11:30). PLEASE RAISE YOUR RIGHT HAND.

I hope and pray that after hearing the message today, you’ll be praying boldly without ceasing for the spread of the gospel and become soul winners.

II  – 1 FIRST, LETS’ PRAY BOLDLY THAT GOD WILL OPEN MORE DOORS AND 0PPORTUNITIES FOR THE SHARING OF THE GOSPEL   – Since the three former fellow elders Odell Lee, Darryl Darden and Kaan Chin left the Golden Gate congregation, I’ve been praying  boldly that God will open doors and  opportunities for the sharing of the gospel and that God will bring men and women to help in the Lord’ work here at Golden Gate. Cite the names as answer to the bold prayers (e.g. brother Benny Joyner ,brother John Jeffrey, brother Richard Hollingsworth, sister Regina Record, sister Mildred Ward, brother Jack Wang, brother Jack Fong, and recently brother Alan Ochoa and brother Roland Tolentino and families)

     2.  SECOND, LET’S  PRAY BOLDLY THAT CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE WILL GO OUT FROM THEIR COMFORT ZONES AND SHARE THE GOSPEL TO THEIR FRANCS (Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, Strangers)  The early Christians got out from their comfort zones and share the gospel face to face  to prospects everywhere. Paul & Silas were imprisoned but didn’t hinder them to share the gospel. In Acts 16:25-40, Paul & Silas were praying and singing and suddenly great earthquakes had the foundations of prison shaken and gates were opened. The keeper of the prison or the Jailor was about the kill himself thinking that the prisoners escaped. Paul shouted in a loud voice, Do yourself no harm, for we are all here. “Sirs, what must I do to be saved” the Jailor asked” Paul shared the gospel to the Jailor and his family. In Acts 16:33, it says, “And immediately he (the Jailor) and all his family were baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 22:16). Paul, Peter and the rest of the apostles and  early Christians ALL got out from their comfort zones and even ready to die for the preaching and sharing of the gospel. Just imagine and visualize if Christians today will also get out from their comfort zones ad share the gospel to their FRANCS. Brother Richard said that the Golden Gate and other sister congregations will have full-houses  of assembled saints and turn this sinful world upside down like what the early Christians did.
